Born on January 25, 1975, in Union, she was the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Inman Speer and the late Robert Winston Speer. Jenny was a registered nurse employed with MUSC-Chester Hospital and held a BSN degree from USC Upstate and a Master's degree in nursing from Walden University.
