Sanaa Amenhotep, a 15-year-old from Leesville, South Carolina, tragically lost her life on April 5, 2021. The Lexington County Coroner's office confirmed that she died from multiple gunshot wounds, and her death was officially ruled a homicide^1^. Sanaa was reported missing on the same day she was last seen leaving her residence in north Columbia. Her body was discovered in a wooded area off Interstate 20 near Batesburg-Leesville^1^.
