In the summer of 2021, the life of a young North Augusta woman was cut short by a senseless act of violence. Rebekah Michelle Clark, a 28-year-old Caucasian female, was fatally wounded in a drive-by shooting on the morning of July 15, 2021. The incident occurred at a residence on Audubon Circle in Aiken County, where Clark was struck in the head by gunfire. Emergency services transported her to Augusta University Medical Center, but she tragically succumbed to her injuries later that day.
