Death by Force

Anthony Merida, a 27-year-old man from Kentucky, was found dead on September 19, 2021, at the Econo Lodge located at 7415 Northside Drive in North Charleston, South Carolina. The Charleston County Coroner's Office identified Merida and confirmed that he died from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal.
