Do you know who murdered Unborn Baby Ray? On a summer evening in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 35-year-old Amber Ray and her unborn son, to be named Ray, were tragically cut short. On July 2, 2020, at around 6:30 p.m., police responded to a shooting in the 5000 block of Poplar Level Road. Upon arrival, they discovered Amber and a male juvenile had been shot.
Both victims were rushed to University Hospital for medical attention. Despite the efforts of medical staff, Amber Ray succumbed to her injuries.
Tragically, her unborn baby, Ray, did not survive. The male juvenile who was also shot sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating the case as a double homicide.
