A quiet street in Raytown, Missouri, was rocked by a horrific tragedy on May 24, 1973. On that day, a mother and her four young children were discovered slain in their home, the victims of a brutal act of gun violence that has remained a dark chapter in the community's history. The deceased were identified as 37-year-old Pauline 'Sissy' Brazeal Williams and her children: Mark, 13; Deborah, 11; Mary Ann, 9; and John, who was only 6 years old.
