Gerald Gordon, a 42-year-old resident of Saint Louis, Missouri, was tragically killed on October 8, 1977. Gordon was attending a bar mitzvah at the Brith Sholom Kneseth Israel synagogue in Richmond Heights when he was shot by Joseph Paul Franklin, a notorious white supremacist and serial killer.
