Ken Rex McElroy, a notorious figure in Skidmore, Missouri, met a violent end on July 10, 1981, at the age of 47. Known as the "town bully," McElroy had a long history of criminal activities, including assault, child molestation, statutory rape, arson, animal cruelty, and theft. Despite being indicted 21 times, he managed to avoid conviction in all but one case, largely due to his intimidation tactics against witnesses.
