Charles Earl Lewis III, aged 67, and his wife Grace Lewis were tragically murdered on September 21, 1993, at their farm in Bonne Terre, Missouri. The couple, who had raised eight children, went missing after a severe storm. Their disappearance was discovered by their son Mike Lewis and his sister, Mary Schmaltz.
