Officer Lane Burns, aged 31, tragically lost his life on March 17, 2022, in Bonne Terre, Missouri. Burns, a dedicated officer with the Bonne Terre Police Department, was responding to a disturbance call at a Motel 6 on Highway K when the incident occurred.
