On a cold Tuesday, February 10, 1998, the life of 34-year-old Caucasian male Monte Dixon came to a violent and tragic end in Sedgwick County, Kansas. That day, he was last seen by his girlfriend at the mobile home they shared at 9600 E. 47th Street South. It was within the walls of his own home that the events leading to his death began to unfold, culminating in a brutal home invasion robbery that would leave a lasting mark on the community.
