Aaron Matej, a 36-year-old man from Pretty Prairie, Kansas, was tragically killed in a hit-and-run incident on April 29, 2011, in Sedgwick County. He was walking near 13th and 183rd streets when he was struck by a vehicle at approximately 2:30 a.m. Although Matej was rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
