On a quiet Sunday afternoon in August 2007, the congregation of the First Congregational Church in Neosho, Missouri, gathered for a service conducted in their native language. The worship was interrupted when a man armed with two handguns, including a TEC-9 semi-automatic pistol, entered the sanctuary. The intruder ordered the children present to leave the room before shouting accusations of dishonesty at the church leaders.
