Kate Margaret Adebukola Adewunmi, a three-year-old girl, tragically died on March 17, 2012, in Bourbon, Missouri. Kate was found alongside her mother, Christine Adewunmi, and her two sisters, Lauren and Samantha, at a camping resort near the Meramec River. The bodies were discovered near their family SUV, parked at the end of a gravel road leading to the river. A gun was found at the scene, and authorities quickly began investigating the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
