Joseph Potter, a 20-year-old resident of Wildwood, Missouri, tragically died on March 11, 2014, in what authorities determined to be a murder-suicide. Joseph was found dead alongside his father, Douglas Potter, 57, in Babler State Park. According to the St. Louis County police, Douglas Potter shot his son before taking his own life^1^. The bodies were discovered near a hiking trail by a couple around 5:30 p.m. on that fateful day^1^.
