A quiet neighborhood in Gladstone, Missouri, became the scene of a homicide investigation in July of 2014. On July 21st, police were called to an apartment complex in the 6900 block of North Bales Avenue where they found Marc A. Bogart, a 19-year-old male from Kansas City, fatally wounded. He had been shot while sitting in the back seat of a vehicle parked at the complex. The tragic event marked another loss to gun violence in the community.
