Darryl T. Simms, a 27-year-old resident of East St. Louis, tragically lost his life on April 4, 2015, due to multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred around 6:15 a.m. on the 5200 block of Jamieson Avenue in St. Louis Hills. Simms was shot in the chest, back, and side, and despite being rushed to the hospital and undergoing surgery, he succumbed to his injuries.
