In the summer of 2015, a fatal encounter unfolded in Sedalia, Missouri, forever altering the lives of those involved. On the night of Friday, July 24th, police responded to a call in the 400 block of North Missouri Avenue, where they discovered 16-year-old Andrew Meyers lying near a car, suffering from a gunshot wound. The young man, a male, was rushed to Bothwell Regional Health Center, but his injuries proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
