A teen is found dead of blunt force trauma
On October 13, 1989, 18-year-old Sheri R. Herr was brutally murdered in her family’s home in rural Warren, Indiana. That morning, Sheri's parents left for work around 8:30 a.m., leaving her alone in the house. When her father returned home later that day, he found her lifeless body in her bedroom. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma, and Sheri had also been stabbed.
