Davon Joshawn Rivera-Wright, a 20-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically shot and killed on January 3, 2017, near an apartment complex in Riverside, Missouri. The incident marked Riverside's first homicide since 2013 and only the sixth since 2001. Rivera-Wright was found on the ground, shot dead, after police responded to a shooting on NW Karen Boulevard. He was a young father, leaving behind two children.
