A young woman is found dead in a ditch
On October 29, 1997, the body of 28-year-old Andrea M. Hendrix Steinert was discovered in a ditch near Francisco, Indiana. She had been missing for several days, and her body was found by a highway worker near a rural road. An autopsy revealed that she had been strangled, and investigators believed she had been dead for one to two days before her discovery.
