Zackary DePung, a 17-year-old from Festus, Missouri, tragically lost his life on August 13, 2017, due to an accidental shooting. Zackary and a friend, both 17, found a gun in a city park and, believing it to be unloaded, began playing with it. The incident occurred outside Zackary's house when his friend accidentally shot him in the upper back, near his neck, as Zackary turned to go back into the house.
