In the quiet neighborhood of Carondelet in St. Louis, Missouri, the evening of September 11, 2018, took a tragic turn. Michael Puckett, a 56-year-old man, was found shot to death in an alley near his home. The incident, which occurred around 10:25 p.m. in the 5400 block of Idaho Avenue, was the result of a carjacking. The suspect fled the scene in Puckett's red 2017 Hyundai Tucson, leaving a community in shock and mourning.
