On April 9, 2019, 33-year-old Lamont Jones was fatally shot in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred during a physical altercation between Jones and another man. According to reports from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the confrontation escalated when the suspect produced a firearm.
