Adrian D. Curtis, age 22, was shot and killed at the Blackburn Terrace Apartments on the east side of Indianapolis on February 25, 2009. Curtis, who had previously been banned from the complex, was shot in the head in the afternoon. Police began searching for suspects soon after the incident and were particularly interested in a white Chevy van that witnesses reported leaving the scene.
