Nick Diemel, aged 35, and his brother Justin Diemel, aged 24, were reported missing on July 21, 2019, after traveling to Braymer, Missouri, for a business meeting. The brothers, who were from Wisconsin, were in Braymer to collect a $250,000 debt related to a cattle deal. They had rented a truck for the trip, which was later found abandoned in a commuter lot in Holt, Missouri, with the keys still in the ignition^1^.
