In the early morning hours of April 17, 2020, the life of 21-year-old Alexuas Acord was tragically cut short in Grandview, Missouri. A young mother, Acord was discovered inside her vehicle in the 13100 block of 15th Street, having been fatally shot. The incident occurred in the driveway of her own home. At the time of her death, she was a mother to two children.
