A school bus driver by trade and a father to a young son, Glover was described by loved ones as an outgoing and family-oriented individual who was deeply involved in sports and always willing to help others. He was known affectionately by the nickname 'Blockhead' and was engaged to be married at the time of his death.
The shooting occurred in North St.
Louis City, leaving Glover dead and his family searching for answers. In the months following the homicide, his mother, Monica Glover, and his fiancée, Janiyah Wright, publicly expressed their frustration with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, fearing that the investigation was stalling. By January 2021, half a year after the murder, detectives had not yet made any arrests or identified a suspect.
Glover's family voiced concerns that the case was not being prioritized, with his mother stating she felt her calls to investigators were falling on deaf ears. Police officials responded to these grievances by citing heavy caseloads for homicide detectives and the difficulty of gathering evidence and cooperation from witnesses.
