On January 1, 2021, Rashon Butler, a 30-year-old resident of Saint Louis, Missouri, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The incident occurred in the 300 block of South Dellwood Avenue in Ferguson, Missouri. Ferguson police officers responded to a report of gunshots at approximately 8:23 PM and found Butler with multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into Butler's death was taken over by the Major Case Squad of Greater St.
