On March 11, 2021, officers from the Blue Springs Police Department were dispatched to a residence in Blue Springs, Missouri, to conduct a welfare check after receiving reports of concern for the occupants. When repeated attempts to make contact with anyone inside the home failed, a tactical team was deployed to gain entry. Upon entering the residence, law enforcement officials discovered a tragic scene involving two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
