Nakita Burns, a 30-year-old resident of Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically lost her life on June 17, 2021. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the Penrose neighborhood of north St. Louis. At approximately 1:36 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting on the 4800 block of Anderson Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Nakita Burns lying in the grass, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
