In the early morning hours of June 17, 2021, the life of 30-year-old Nakita Burns was tragically cut short in the Penrose neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. At approximately 1:36 a.m., police responded to a call of a shooting in the 4800 block of Anderson Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Ms. Burns lying in the grass, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
