Has anyone else been keeping up with the Kansas City homicides, particularly the tragic case of Carlos Barnett? It’s just so upsetting to hear about yet another young life lost to senseless violence. I’ve been thinking a lot about the families and friends who were robbed of seeing Carlos grow and experience life. What stands out to me is how this is the third homicide in that part of Kansas City in less than a month. It’s concerning that there still haven’t been any arrests for his murder. How are we supposed to feel safe when justice seems out of reach for these families? I really hope more people come forward with information, so Carlos and the others don’t become just another statistic. If anyone has heard anything new or has thoughts on why this keeps happening in certain areas, I'd love to hear your perspective. Maybe together, as a community, we can shed some light on this terrible situation and find a way to bring some peace to the bereaved families.
