Lorinda Branch, 38, was shot and killed at a residence on County Highway 415 in Bragg City, Missouri, in late June 2022. Pemiscot County 911 received a distress call that Wednesday evening; officers arriving at the scene found Branch fatally wounded by gunfire.

The Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control, and Caruthersville Police Department investigated. Within a short period investigators arrested Branch’s 32-year-old brother, Arsenio Jones, who was charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action and booked into the Pemiscot County Jail. Motive and specific evidence have not been disclosed.
