Has anyone else been wondering about Alvin Renfro’s blue backpack? It's weird that it hasn't turned up somewhere. Backpacks usually hold a bunch of personal stuff, and you'd think if someone found it, they'd report it. I've read cases before where stuff like this cracked things open. Was there anything specific about the area he was last seen in that could’ve hidden it away or made searching difficult? Maybe it was overlooked? I feel like there could be some overlooked clue hidden in what he was carrying. Just a thought, but it might help spur some fresh ideas on what happened.
I'm really intrigued by the fact that Alvin Renfro had that distinctive tattoo on his chest, but there hasn't been any mention of it being a lead. Tattoos are usually pretty unique identifiers and can sometimes help jog people's memories. Did the investigation ever release details or a sketch of the tattoo to the public in case someone recognized it? I find it odd that this detail hasn't been more of a focal point in the search efforts. It's strange how in some cases, even small details can become crucial turning points. I hope they consider sharing more about it, as it might help bring some fresh eyes to the case.
