I recently came across an interview with Alexzandria Bell's family, and it really hit home just how deeply her loss is felt by those who loved her. Her mother spoke about Alexzandria's dream of going to culinary school and the joy she found in dancing. It's impossible not to feel the weight of a young life full of potential, snatched away so tragically. The love and pride her family has for her shines through every word they spoke. It's haunting to think that she was so full of life and enthusiasm, with so many dreams yet to be fulfilled.
The fact that this shooter could legally obtain such a weapon is absolutely infuriating. I can't imagine the frustration and sadness her family must feel knowing it could have been prevented. I hope Alexzandria's story helps to fuel much-needed changes in our policies around firearm access and mental health care. We owe it to her memory and to all those affected to do better. If anyone else has seen similar interviews or articles, I'd love to discuss more about how we can support families like Alexzandria's and advocate for meaningful change.

It’s amazing how many people showed up to remember Alexzandria and support her family and friends in such a difficult time. The outpouring of love and solidarity is a testament to the impact Alexzandria had in her 15 years. As someone who loved dance and dreamed of going to culinary school, you can tell she was a bright light in so many lives. I hope the community continues to rally together, not just in the immediate aftermath, but in the long run to push for meaningful changes in school safety and mental health resources. It’s vital that we honor the memories of Alexzandria and Mrs. Kuczka by working tirelessly to prevent such tragedies in the future.
