I can’t stop thinking about the role that surveillance cameras could play in the investigation of Matthew Gatson Jr.’s tragic death. The intersection where the crime happened is known to be pretty busy, right? It's hard to imagine that there wouldn't be at least some CCTV footage available. If anyone in the area knows of businesses or city cameras installed at 63rd Street and 71 Highway, maybe we can brainstorm ways to bring more attention to this and potentially uncover new evidence.
It's terrifying to think that such a violent crime could happen in broad daylight, and it’s incredibly frustrating that Matthew’s family is still waiting for answers. I can only imagine the pain and frustration his family and Rain must be feeling right now. I've been thinking a lot about the case of Matthew Gatson Jr., especially regarding the location of the incident. It happened in broad daylight at such a busy intersection, 63rd Street and 71 Highway in Kansas City. It's hard to believe that nobody saw anything or heard the commotion that led up to the tragedy.
I feel so deeply for Rain Spriggs, having witnessed such a traumatic event and then surviving her injuries. It must be incredibly difficult for her to process everything, alongside the physical pain she's enduring.
Has anyone considered the possibility that there could be more surveillance footage from nearby businesses or traffic cameras at the intersection? It seems like a location that would have some form of surveillance. Maybe there's an angle that was overlooked, or a business that hasn't been approached yet? Every piece of information might bring us one step closer to finding justice for Matthew and providing some solace to his family and fiancé.
