Has anyone looked into the timing of Ermelinda's social media post before she disappeared? It was supposedly recorded while she was in the desert near Blythe. I'm curious if anyone knows the exact time it went live. The reason I'm asking is that social media timestamps can sometimes provide clues about where she might have truly been at different times of the day.
For instance, if the video was posted hours after she called her sister early in the morning, it might mean she was stationary for a while. Or maybe she was waiting for something or someone? It's odd that she mentioned a car accident and being picked up by a friend, yet nobody has come forward with info on this alleged friend or any witnesses seeing her after that point.
I'm also wondering if there's any chance she had another phone or device. It’s just hard to imagine her without any means of communication, especially considering how she was sharing updates just before she vanished. Would love to hear thoughts from anyone who might have insights into the role social media played in this case or any similar cases.
Hey everyone, I’ve been piecing together some details on Ermelinda Alvarado’s case and noticed something peculiar about the video she posted on social media. If she was truly in the desert near Blythe, as she claimed, why didn’t she reach out to any local authorities about the supposed car accident or the men she mentioned? I know it’s easy to armchair this after the fact, but it just seems like something someone would naturally do if they were in danger.
Also, has anyone considered the possibility that her phone might hold the key? I mean, it’s missing, which suggests that maybe she still had it on her when she vanished, or someone else took it. Perhaps a deeper dive into her phone records before and after the disappearance could add some clues. If there’s any more info on potential phone pings, that could be really telling.
Just some thoughts as we all try to make sense of what might have happened. Anyone have other ideas about the phone or video details?
Does anyone else find the timing of Ermelinda's phone calls that night really strange? I mean, she calls her sister at 2:25 a.m. saying she’s driving to Florida, and then soon after, she tells her husband she wants to drive to Texas? It seems like she was in a frantic state of mind or maybe conflicted about where she really wanted to go. Her rental car being found with all her belongings but no sign of her is just baffling. And the part about a mysterious friend picking her up makes me wonder who this person could be and why they haven't come forward. It’s like she was reaching out for help or reassurance from her family but ended up in a much worse situation. Does anyone else think there might be more to the story than we're hearing?
