Wow, the surge of violence that week in Indy was just unbelievable. Gregory Bryant’s murder touches a tender spot because it shows how chaotic things were and how easily anyone could get caught up in it. I can’t even imagine what his family went through, especially with the chaos of the investigation during such a violent time. It must have been so frustrating not getting clear updates with so many cases happening all at once. It’s upsetting to think about all those families affected and how some might not have received the closure they desperately needed. I hope the increased police efforts eventually helped, but it’s hard not to feel for those left in the dark during such a storm of violence. Does anyone know if there were any community efforts after that to support the victims’ families? I feel like those would be crucial during times like that.
