I’ve been following the case of Len Carruthers, and I can't help but reflect on how impactful it is to hear personal stories shared by Len’s friends and family over the years. It’s clear that Len was deeply cherished by those around him. It feels so unjust that someone who meant so much to so many people had his life cut short in such a violent and senseless way.
I’ve been thinking about the altercation Len had earlier that morning at the nightclub. It’s tough not knowing if there’s a direct connection to the shooting, but it’s also strange that the shooter was so cold and calculating, approaching from behind. It makes me wonder if it was really related to the scuffle or if some other motive was at play. My heart goes out to Len’s family, who have been left with so many unanswered questions.
