I've been thinking a lot about the discoveries made in Mendenhall's truck. It's so chilling to imagine what officers must have felt when they opened that door and found all those incriminating items. A cell phone and ATM card belonging to Carma were found inside — clear signs pointing to her tragic fate. It's haunting to think how seemingly small details like these can break open a case. I can't even imagine the pain Carma's family must have gone through knowing that her belongings and DNA were found in such a horrific context. Their courage and determination to see justice served, even amidst such sorrow, is truly admirable. Sending strength and love to all affected by this tragedy.
