Has anyone else been following the Garry W. Borer case? I can’t stop thinking about the circumstances in which he was found. The fact that his ex-girlfriend and son were the ones who raised the alarm really tugs at my heartstrings. They must have been so worried those few days he was missing, and I can’t imagine what they’re still going through. It’s incredible to see how DNA advancements helped to finally push the case forward. Imagine the patience and determination it must have taken for everyone involved—family, friends, and investigators—to keep hope alive for so many years without any clear answers. Even though they eventually managed to link someone to this senseless crime, I wish we knew more about why this happened. It might never bring complete closure, but understanding a motive could at least make it a little easier to comprehend such a devastating loss. What do you all think about how these cold cases are handled?
