I can't stop thinking about the children Candice left behind. It's just unbearable to think that they were so close when this unspeakable act happened. As a mom, my heart goes out to them and any family members stepping up to care for them now. Those kids are going to need so much love and support to make sense of this chaos as they grow up. I hope they find a stable and nurturing environment to heal from this loss. It's infuriating that domestic violence can reach this level, leaving such a profound impact on the tiniest and most innocent lives. Keeping the little ones in my thoughts tonight.
