I've been following Tommy Thompson's case for a while now and something that hasn't been discussed much is the apparent lack of surveillance footage from the South Bend Avenue Apartments where the shooting took place. Given that this area is usually well-trafficked, you'd think there would be some cameras around that could provide valuable leads.
It's really frustrating to think that maybe the answers could be hidden in plain sight if we just had some video evidence. I can't even begin to imagine what Tommy's family must be going through, not knowing who did this or why. If anyone knows more about the security setup in that area or if other residents have mentioned cameras, it might be worth looking into. Every little detail could help.

I’ve been following Tommy Thompson’s case for a while now, and one thing that really sticks with me is how his community rallied together after his death. It’s been years, but the unity and support during the prayer vigil back in 2014 were incredible. It’s tough to see such a young life cut short, and even tougher to see that justice still hasn’t been served. I can only imagine the frustration and pain his family must be feeling all these years later.
The police have urged anyone with information to step up, and I genuinely hope someone finds the courage to speak out. Maybe there’s a small detail someone thinks isn't important that could be the key to finding his killer. My heart goes out to Tommy’s loved ones.
