As a community, we need to channel our pain into pressing for change—especially to prevent another young soul like Darrius from being lost to violence. It's clear he was cherished and had a bright path ahead, and it's incredibly tragic that it was taken away. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and all those affected by this devastating loss. We need to keep his memory alive by actively working towards making our streets safer for future generations.
