I was thinking today about Terry Proctor's case and the role that eyewitness testimonies can actually play in shaping outcomes. It's been over two years since he was killed, and I can't imagine the pain his family must still feel. The fact that the jury found Desmond Hess not guilty makes you really consider how crucial evidence and reliable accounts are in these investigations. It's unsettling to think that an initial arrest doesn't always lead to a conviction, even when emotions are so high, and a community is affected so deeply. For the Proctor family, I hope they find some sort of peace and that eventually, the truth fully emerges for everyone's sake. Does anyone else have thoughts on how the justice system manages these types of situations?
