Has anyone else been following the investigation into Jimmy Baxter's murder closely? I came across a suggestion from a local who said that at the time of the shooting, there was a suspicious vehicle spotted multiple times in that neighborhood. It's tragic how Jimmy's case hasn't found closure yet, and I hope sharing these smaller details might spark someone's memory. Maybe someone recognized the car or saw something that didn't sit right with them that night. It's important we keep these conversations going and support Jimmy's family and friends in any way possible. They deserve answers and justice for Jimmy, and it's up to us, as part of this community, to keep our eyes and ears open for anything that could help. Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Jimmy Baxter's case and can't get over how areas we consider safe can suddenly transform into crime scenes. I grew up not too far from 46th Street and Carrollton Avenue, and it's just so difficult to process that such a violent act could happen in what I remember as a tight-knit neighborhood. It must be devastating for his family and friends to live with the uncertainty and lack of answers.
I was going through some old news articles and noticed that there were quite a few witness statements collected, but it's like the information hit a dead end. It's frustrating to think that someone out there might know something crucial but hasn't come forward. I can’t imagine the kind of courage it would take, but even the smallest detail could bring clarity.
It is so important for communities to rally and support each other in these times, keep the conversation going, and not let stories like Jimmy's fade away.
