Has anyone looked into the possibility of Esmeralda being in contact with someone online before she went missing? Given her age and the fact that she ran away once before, I wonder if she might have met someone through social media or a chat app. It's so common these days for teens to make connections online, and sometimes these people aren't who they say they are. With that being a possibility, maybe there's a chance it could lead to new clues about where she might be. I know authorities probably have thought of this, but the thought just keeps coming up for me since we've seen similar cases unfold this way online before. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle?
Did Esmeralda have any friends or close connections outside of LA when she went missing? I remember reading that she previously ran away when she lived in Vegas, which makes me wonder if she has someone she's been in contact with or if there was somewhere specific she might have gone. Has anyone else been following the case of Esmeralda Monique Leyva who went missing back in 2019? I was thinking about her recent history before she disappeared.
