I've been thinking a lot about Curtis William Trent II and his impact on South Bend. His dedication to reducing youth violence is something that really resonates with me. It’s such a terrible loss for the community when someone so passionate and involved is taken away. I came across his work, "Don't Know Daddy," and was really moved by his words. It's clear he put his heart into everything he did, not just for his own legacy but to genuinely help others. I wonder what Project T.R.U.C.E. might have accomplished if he’d been able to see it through. It’s a reminder of the importance of carrying on his vision, to support those initiatives that aim to change lives for the better. Curtis seemed like the kind of person who truly made a difference, and it’s up to us to continue shining a light on the issues he cared about. Does anyone here have memories of working with him or know more about the progress of his projects?
