I can't help but wonder what can drive someone to pursue another person so relentlessly after a simple encounter over money. Was it fear, anger, or something else entirely? The part that really gets to me is the choice to go after Markest instead of just calling the authorities if there was truly a concern. I keep thinking about Markest’s family and how this whole situation seems so senseless. They lost a loved one over basically nothing, and it could have been avoided if cooler heads had prevailed.
