Does anyone else find it strange that none of Alexis's neighbors reported hearing anything suspicious the night he was killed? You'd think a gunshot would get some attention, especially in a residential area. I read some interviews and it seems like people were either asleep or didn't think much of the noise. It's haunting to imagine a whole neighborhood silent while something so terrible was happening. My heart goes out to Alexis's family—hoping the investigators can find a breakthrough soon.
I keep thinking about the atmosphere at that party on Bazil Avenue. It's haunting to know that while everyone was just having a typical college night, something so sinister was brewing just outside. I can't imagine the terror and confusion his friends must have felt when they realized what happened.
